#4 Week June 22 - June 28 Summer Homework. CALL TO JOHANNESBURG
Today June 24th, 2010 I called to Johannesburg, a city in South Africa because my mom and my sister are there, seeing Honduras play and loose. My mom gave me a number to call her but it appears as an invalid number. At first I did´nt knew what to do, but later I decided to call 197 to ask for the Hotel number in which she was staying. A lady working in the reception answered, her accent was so weird that I thaught she was speeking Afrikaän so I ended the call. Like about an hour later I missed my mom to much and decided to call again; thiss time a man answered, his accent was more clear and I noticed it was like an english accent from England but combined with a caribbean english. I asked him if he could transfer the call to my mom´s room. He asked me my mom´s name, and as I was spelling it for him, he repeted the letters: R-E-I-N-A. when I spelled R he answered me back Agghrrrr, which made me laugh. Finally I could communicate with my mom, and ended the call.
